As Christmas approaches, we remember the children and families in Toronto who have been impacted by poverty. Please consider a financial gift in partnership with Toronto City Mission to gather families together for a meal, a time of friendship, and the opportunity for each child to continue participating in Kids in Community (KIC). KIC is an after-school program designed for kids in grades 1 to 6 to spend their time in a safe environment engaged in positive activities. We build relationships with the kids through songs, games, Bible time, and homework help.
Click to watch Jenieve's story below:
Jenieve came to Canada when she was 6 years old with a strong Patois accent. Shocked by her new surroundings, she began attending Toronto City Mission’s KIC program in Willowtree as she adjusted to her new life in Canada. She made new friends, learned about God, learned how to cook, and built long lasting relationships. Now 16, Jenieve has the opportunity to be a role model and serve her community as a Teens Leading Community (TLC). She hopes that other kids get the same opportunities to build
relationships and know the transformative powers that God can have in your life.
Our goal is to raise $80,000, sending over 110 kids to KIC for the school year.
$80 will send one kid to KIC for one month
$800 will send one kid to KIC for one school year
$80,000 will send 100 kids to KIC for the school year
Will you give the Gift of Christmas and give kids like Jenieve the opportunity to be transformed by God?
