Christmas is a time of joy and celebration. But would you believe that Toronto remains the child poverty capital of Canada? This means a lot of children and families will miss out on the joy, love, and hope this season brings.
This season, make a difference and give a child the Gift of Christmas.
Your Gift of Christmas will help bring families and children together for a Christmas dinner and time of celebration. Along with others, you will be giving the opportunity to build lasting relationships with children and families in the community. It’s a night of fun, laughter, food and singing–where the love and hope of Christ is shared with children and families impacted by poverty.
In addition, your generous gift will send a child to Kids in Community (KIC)–an after school program offered in four communities that allows children to spend their time in a safe and positive environment. When you give the Gift of Christmas, you are helping a child benefit from a nurturing and caring environment where crafts, homework-assistance, mentorship, food, and Bible lessons are all provided.
As you spend Christmas with your loved ones, colleagues, and friends, I ask you to prayerfully consider making a financial gift in partnership with Toronto City Mission.
Will you give the Gift of Christmas and give kids the opportunity to be transformed by God?
