Taking the TTC

Sometimes kids do simple stuff that is really cool and reflects God's love to people around them. One example of this, recently, was seeing a couple of the Grade 5 girls on the way home from our EPIC program greet the TTC driver who sometimes drives on our route by name and spend a bit of time talking to him. It seems like a pretty small thing but for some reason it really stuck with me as a significant thing that they were interested to learn his name and then greet him by name each week that they saw him.

I feel like these simple gestures, such as learning the bus drivers name, are a great way to show people that we may encounter during our day that we value them and, also, once again, really demonstrated to me how relational many kids at our program are.
