The internship with Toronto City Mission really helped me to truly understand what it means to use your abilities to share the love of Christ. Loving the kids and learning from them allowed me to grow spiritually in ways that I wasn't able to find in a church setting, something that I didn't know I needed until I found it!             - Caroline Ahn

The summer internship program is an amazing opportunity for your life with Christ to be changed.  As you serve and give of yourself to the kids, God gives himself to you and astounds you at how much he can use you if you are only willing.  This program is not for perfect people.  It's for people who in their weakness are just willing to be used.      - Jennifer Boneschansker

Being a summer intern helped me to see past the labels that we sometimes put on people living in poverty. By the end of the summer, I learned that my heart ached and rejoiced with these kids because our lives had grown together and their experience became mine as well. Intern Reflections - Summer 2007

This past summer has opened my eyes as to the wonderful works that God is doing through TCM workers and those within the community. It has been a positive experience that has left me feeling extremely blessed and encouraged to further the ministry. - Justin Chan, Willowtree

My experience with TCM last summer was a real eye opener. I never knew that poverty was occurring right in my backyard. I was able to learn a lot from the staff as well as the children as many of them encounter hardship at such a young age. I felt blessed to have the opportunity to learn from those around me, as well as teaching what God has showed me to the campers and staff. - Natalie
