Thank you for your interest in the ministry of the Toronto City Mission. Volunteers are the backbone of our programs and we are happy to share our opportunities for service with you.
At the Toronto City Mission we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all our program participants and volunteers. Therefore, we carefully screen our volunteers. This means that, after completing and returning a volunteer application form, we arrange to meet you for a personal interview and check your references. For some programs we also require a police reference check and a signed Statement of Faith. All volunteers must take part in a Risk Management training session that is provided by Toronto City Mission.
