Sandra Riguerra
Sandra is passionate about supporting children and youth who feel invisible, ignored, or uncertain of their worth because she's been there too, and now she knows that the only answer is Jesus. After accepting Christ and letting His will guide her life, she has made sure to answer wherever God calls her to serve. With her background in social services, experience in youth work, and a passion for Christ, she hopes her work at TCM reflects God's grace, love, and patience. She believes in making knowledge accessible, creating spaces where kindness thrives, and teaching young people that God is writing a story far greater than anyone can imagine.
Sandra hopes to stay open to saying yes to every call of God so other people can encounter Jesus, the One who truly sees them and loves them.
Deya Serving in Communities
As programs began the following week, the feeling of determination I had developed over the summer had returned. While the word, determination, might sound promising or even praise-worthy, don’t be fooled. This determination was fuelled by doing a good job and meeting criteria in order to be able to sleep well at night. In other words, I began to rely on my own strength to attempt to power through and even cope with the challenge of increased leadership. It wasn’t until a couple of incidents that I finally understood what this more important word, Strength, had meant both in terms of ministry and my life as a whole.
